We are currently accepting donations of medical gloves and medical masks.
The Carrington allows pets to visit residents, but pets must be leashed, calm, and up-to-date on all shots. Pets are not allowed in the dining rooms.
The Carrington does not have any official visiting hours, so we can accommodate unique visiting schedules. However, visitors may not remain overnight due to liability issues. Families may hire professional sitters from outside sources to be night-time companions if desired.
Our on-site beautician comes once a week and does not leave until every request for hair services has been fulfilled. Our hair salon is also available upon request for those who have their own visiting hair stylist.
Activities include holiday events, socials, parties, music programs, games, arts & crafts, manicures, Bible studies, church services, communion services, outdoor events, movies, and more! See our activity calendar for more details.
Lounges, dining areas, and food preparation are available to be reserved for special events for residents and their families, and guest meals are available daily for a nominal charge.
The Carrington strives to provide a community environment with a focus on your needs and preferences. The elders living in our community are encouraged to be very involved in the decision-making process not only for their care needs but for how they choose to spend their day. These decisions can include being involved in our diverse activity program, exercise with staff assistance, community gardening, cards, or even watching a movie in their room, just to name a few.
Above all else, The Carrington residents are treated as individuals with individual needs and preferences, and employees treat each resident as they would treat themselves – with dignity and respect. At The Carrington, each resident is special and is encouraged to exercise their rights as a human being and as a citizen.
